We're a husband-and-wife duo based in Lakeland, Florida, with a heart for meaningful connection, hospitality, and beautiful details. Gather in Gladness Picnics was born out of our desire to create intentional spaces where people can slow down, celebrate, and enjoy one another in style. A little about us — we’re Elijah & Brooke, and our story began in October 2023 when we met and quickly realized we made a great team. By April 2024, we were married, and ever since, we've been blending our shared values and skills into our daily living. Our faith plays a central role in how we live and serve. We believe in showing kindness and a spirit of servanthood in everything we do — whether setting up a cozy picnic in the park or connecting with the people we meet along the way. Together, our backgrounds include photography, nonprofit work, assisting in events, and customer service. These experiences have shaped our vision and gifted us with the tools to lead a business like Gather in Gladness Picnics with care, creativity, and purpose. Since recently growing our little family from two to three with the arrival of our baby boy, and transitioning to part-time work, we’ve found more space to pour into this new adventure — serving Lakeland and its surrounding areas through curated picnic experiences that feel intentional, beautiful, and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to do this and can’t wait to serve you.
